He's home -- we are thrilled to report a successful release of the snared coyote back home into the wild!
He came to us more than a month ago, when our rescue team rushed to the scene in Pickering to free his almost lifeless body from a snare trap in Pickering. He suffered from very severe injuries on his mouth, requiring 5 surgeries over the course of 4 weeks.
Under the skillful hands of TWC's amazing veterinary and rehabilitation teams, he not only healed completely but put on a healthy amount of weight while maintaining an alert and cautious coyote disposition.
