The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway's 2016 autumn steam gala, held on the 24th and 25th of September, saw the return of replica Manning Wardle 2-6-2T no.E190 'Lyd'. Based on the locomotives which worked the original Lynton & Barnstaple Railway, until closure in 1935, she was completed in 2010 and resides on the Ffestiniog Railway in North Wales. In this short video, she is seen with her authentic set of four original L&B coaches on three occasions, working hard up the steep gradients of around 1 in 50 between Killington Lane and Woody Bay.
